#1💡Be On Humanity’s Side
Love this poem “Be on humanity’s side” by my friend IN-Q.
Being kind isn’t a sign of weakness.
Being kind is a superpower that makes life more enjoyable. ❤️
👉 Bonus: IN-Q and I had a really fun time chatting about inspiration, his creative process, and specific poems from his book Inquire Within. Watch our Amazon Fishbowl (fireside chat) here.
#2💡How Long Is Your Life?
One box for every week of a 90-year life. 🤯
Looks short right?
I like to view life in decades.
Here’s how I view 9 decades (90 years).
Decade 1 (0-10 years) = childhood. Focused on growing up.
Decade 2 (11-20 years) = adolescence. Focused on learning, relationships, and what you are good at + passions.
Decade 3 (21-30 years) = young adult. Focused on spurring your career, finding out who you are, and lifelong relationships.
Decades 7-9 (61-90 years) = senior age. You’ve lived your life (hopefully minimized regrets), knowledge share your experiences, but the energy to travel and experience new things is not as high.
This leaves us with Decades 4-6 (31-60 years). I call this “Prime Time”. You have a strong sense of who you are. You deepen relationships and decide whether you want to start a family. You learn from loss as connections close to you pass away. You know what you like to do but you also have the energy to experience new things…to pick up and go. You have the experience and domain expertise to knowledge share and teach others. 👉 It is within this timeframe where you decide what to do with your life because you have the most controllable inputs.
How will you live “Prime Time”?
#3💡Grow from Failure
Don’t fear failure. Embrace it. Learn from it. Grow from it.
This is a scary muscle to develop. But your life will be happier when you do.
The greatest growth stems from failure. 🌱

#4💡Web3…We Are Very Early
We are so so so early.
And that is partly what makes it so exciting.
Surround yourself and learn from positive-sum pioneers. 🛸
