#1💡Translate Inspiration to Action
Another way to frame the endless loop is via the concept of a flywheel.
A flywheel illustrates the controllable components of a business that as one part increases and gains momentum, it spins the other part of the business faster, which in turn spins the other part faster. Resulting in a virtuous cycle.
As A increases > it leads to more of B > which increases C > and cycles back to A.
It is critical for a business to identify their flywheel. And, I believe we will see the rise of individual flywheels (creators, writers, solo GPs, niche communities with capped membership).
Inspiration > Motivation > Action > Inspiration…is a beautiful virtuous cycle.
🏔️ The key question is: how will you inspire yourself and others?
(note: the piece above has a unique tie-in with me…something I may write about one day)
#2💡What Money Doesn’t Buy
Fitness. 🦾
Diet. 🍴
Mental health. 🧠
All three are controllable inputs.
Make this part of your personal flywheel as described above.
#3💡Startup Superpower over BigCo
One of the greatest advantages you have as a startup is extreme singular focus.
As a startup, you are fighting to survive from all sides (e.g. customers, big and small competitors, burn rate, macro dynamics, etc.). The best startups focus on one mission and the important tasks needed to be done.
#4💡Why Kindness Wins
IMO, when someone says “Live Aloha” — it means to live by and practice kindness.
Kindness is only seen as weak…by weak people.
Kindness is the ultimate leverage, because if you give without expectation, you’ve already won.
Kindness is ROI positive. People and companies prefer win-win partnerships because it works out better in the long-term.
